Showcasing Innovation: Neogia’s Journey at the Greater South Fair for Endogenous Technology

We are thrilled to share our transformative experience at the inaugural Greater South Fair for Endogenous Technology (GesFET) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. As one of four startups chosen to represent Nigeria by the Organisation of Southern Cooperation, this opportunity marked a significant milestone in Neogia’s journey toward revolutionizing energy access across Africa.

Representing Nigerian Innovation on a Global Stage

The selection process was highly competitive, and being chosen as one of Nigeria’s representatives was both an honor and a validation of our mission to provide sustainable energy solutions to underserved communities. Our selection alongside three other innovative Nigerian startups highlighted the growing recognition of Nigeria’s vibrant technology ecosystem and its potential to address pressing developmental challenges.

Spotlight on Sustainable Energy Solutions

During the fair, we had the privilege of showcasing our solar charging station solution through both an exhibition booth and a pitch presentation. Our innovative approach to democratizing energy access resonated strongly with attendees, particularly our focus on empowering local communities through sustainable technology. The pitch session provided an invaluable platform to share our vision with a diverse audience of investors, policy makers, and fellow innovators from across the Global South.
